FORBEREDELSER:
Kamera skal kobles sammen med Ruter/Modem

  1. Forberedelser; Du må ha passordet til Modemet ditt
    Du må ha lastet ned Appen: Eye4 (trykk her)Du må ha registrert deg som bruker av Appen – Trykk “Register now” – opprett en bruker og et passord.
  2. Kamera skal kobles sammen med App (smarttelefon)

OPPKOBLING

  1. Da starter vi:
    1. Sett i strøm i kameraet og vent til kameraet gir beskjed om å koble sammen
    (Du skal ikke bruke kabel mellom kamera og modem)
    2.  Trykk + i høyre hjørne på Appen (på telefon) for å legge til et kamera
    Klikk på “Scan QR code” og scann koden på kameraet
    Når kamera sier “Please use APP for wifi configuration” trykk på knappen
    “There is voice prompt”

Hvor mange ulike kamera kan jeg ha på samme App?

Hei, inntil 16 kamera kan styres på samme App,
Om du har utendørs, innndørs eller dørklokke spiller ingen rolle. Alle Vstarcam kamera bruker samme Eye4 (trykk her) App

Kan jeg bruke hva jeg vil som brukernavn og passord på telefon Appen? (Eye4)

Hei, du kan bruke følgende:

1, konto/navn: Navnet må være mellom 6-50 karakterer, kan bare inneholde tall og bokstaver – ikke spesialtegn

2, passord: Må være mellom 8-31 karakterer. Kan bare inneholde tall og bokstaver.

ikke spesialtegn. Husk at liten bokstav og stor BOKSTAV er to forskjellige tegn

2. Last ned og installer APP

APP download:
1. Gå til VStarcam offisielle nedlastingside: www.Eye4.so, og last ned APP i henhold til din telefon
(Det er forskjell å Iphone og Androide telefoner).
2. APP-enheten kan også lastes ned i Google Play, APPLE-butikk, 360mobile assistent og pea pods etc.
3. Evt. skann QR-kode for å laste ned APP.

2 Registrer en konto
1. Åpne APP, velg “Registrer nå”, opprett et brukernavn og passord, (skriv dem ned slik at du ikke glemmer dem),
klikk “send” for å fullføre registreringen. NB: Passordet krever 6-50 tegn, kan ikke være spesialtegn.
Du kan også registrere deg med postadresse.

Merk: Det kreves å binde din konto med e-postadressen din, for å hente ditt glemt passord
(Hvis du hopper over dette trinnet, og glemmer passordet, kan du få tilgang til kontoen). 

3 Login på din konto
1. På påloggingssiden er det tre måter å logge inn på, som vist nedenfor.
Du kan velge å logge inn med en tredjepartskonto, som Tencent QQaccount eller en Blog-konto.

LEGG TIL KAMERA

 

1. Når du er logget inn, velg “+”, så får du siden Legg til.
Det er to måter å legge til kamera på: Skann QR-koden og Andre.

“Andre” inneholder følgende fire måter:
1 Trådløs installasjon. For å konfigurere trådløse nettverk for modeller som støtter trådløs WiFi-konfigurasjon. (alle innekamera) 
2 Søk i LAN. Hvis telefonen og kameraet deler samme Wii, kan du søke i kameraet direkte og legge til det.
3 Manuelt legg til. Du kan manuelt skrive inn UID-nummeret eller scanQR-koden for å legge til kameraet. (den hvite lappen på kamera)
4 AP-modus legger til. Kan brukes ved hot spot, eller dersom kamera ikke er koblet til et nettverk

Merk: (1) Når du velger den trådløse installasjonsmetoden for å legge til kameraet, og du mislykkes,
-sjekk WiFi-innstillingene:
a. Er WiFi-passordet er for langt eller for komplisert. Hvis ja, vennligst endre det til et enkelt passord,
for eksempel 12345678 og deretter “try again”.
b. Er telefonen er koblet til 5 GHz-båndet WiFi?. Kamera støtter bare 2,4 GHz WiFi for øyeblikket.
Dersom du har et nytt modem med 5 GHz, bruk 2,4 GHz delen på ditt moden – og da må også telefonen være koblet til dette.
c. Er kameraet er koblet til andre WiFi-enheter fordi det har vært satt opp tidligere?. Hvis det er tilfelle, vennligst tilbakestill kameraet, og konfigurer Wi-Fi på nytt. 

2) Søk etter LAN, Pass på at telefonen og kameraet deler samme WiFi.
(3) Legg til UID manuelt, UID er ikke store bokstaver.

6 Viewing the camera video
1. Login the APP—click the play button in the thumbnail, then you can
view the video(if the camera is online);Tap the switch button at
the bottom right to get full screen.
Note: The menu will be hidden when you slide up the screen, they will pop up
when you slid down the screen.
7 Turn on listening and speaking
1. Login the APP→click on ‘Play’ button→find the talk and listen
button and turn on them.(note:talk and listen can not work at the
same time)

8 Recording & Photographing
1. Login the APP→click play button→find “snapshot” and “video”
button. Click the “snapshot” button, it will prompt “snapshot
success”. Click the “record” button, a red mark will pop up at the
top right corner of the camera’s video page, which means it is
recording.

9 Camera Connection Status&Speed
1. Login the APP→click play button→You can see the connection
speed, network type(WiFi or mobile data), TF card status below the
real-time video.(Note: If the camera is offline, the ‘offline’ will be
shown at the center of the thumbnail.)

10 Full-screen Viewing
1. Login the APP→click play button→Click the button on the bottom
right of the screen to get full screen viewing.

11 Image quality adjustment
1. Login the APP→click play button→switch to full screen and click the
screen→click “STD” under full-screen mode.
2. Three grades are selectable: High, STD, Smooth. The higher
quality, more network bandwidth required.

12 Preset setting&cruise
1. The preset setting is to preset a few positions that are often seen.
We can click on the preset position directly to see it, no sliding is
required. For cameras with pan/tilt function only.
2. Login the APP→click play button→switch to full screen and click the
screen→click the location sign at the top right corner.
3. You can setup preset positions here. After finished the settings,
click “preset cruise”, the camera would automatically patrol between
the specified preset positions. We can setup 5 preset positions, the
camera will stop for 10 seconds on every position and then go to the
next one.

13 Vertical&horizontal cruise
1. Login the APP→click play button→switch to full screen→click the
button at the top right corner;
2. Then you can see Vertical&horizontal cruise button. Clicking the
related button and it will react accordingly.(It will cruise for 5 laps
on every click.)

14 Four screen viewing at the same time
1. Login the APP→click the four-screen button at the top right corner,
you can view four cameras at the same time (when there are extra
cameras, you can slide left and right on the screen to view them).

15 WiFi setting
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’.

2. Then go to ‘WiFi Setting’ ,choose your WiFi and then input the WiFi
password, click on ‘done’ to finish the wifi settings.
(Note: After clicking the ‘done’ button’, please follow the prompt to
unplug the network cable. Wireless setting will be successful after
the camera restart automatically).

16 Storage setting
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot at the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’.→click on “SD
Recording” ; There you can see the status of the TF card, turn off
recording or setup recording schedule, choose whether to record
sound and format SD card.

17 Password setting
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’→click ‘Password
setting’ ; Follow the guide, enter the new password, click “submit”
below. New password will work after the camera restart automatically.
(Please pay attention to the requirements of making new password)

18 Alarm setting
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’→click ‘Alarm ’

2. Then you can see ‘Alarm notification’, “Notification Type” and
‘Motion Detection arming’.
Notification Type. There are two notification type:client and email.
Clcik them respectively to view their setup guide, please follow the
guide step by step.

3. Motion Detection Alarm. When turned on, the options of
sensitivity and time schedule of the motion detection will pop up.
Motion detection sensitivity. Can be set to three grades: low,
middle and high. The higher, it’s easily to trigger alarm. Users can
set the sensitivity based on their actual needs.
4. Schedule: People can set the time schedule for motion detection
alarm.

19 Firmware update
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’→click firmware
upgrade;

2. The APP will automatically detect and match the current and
latest firmware version. If it detects a new version, you can click the
firmware update button, waiting for 3 minutes, the upgrade will be
done. Please don’t power off the camera while upgrading.

20 Modify camera name
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’→click the arrow
on the right, as shown below;

2. You can modify the camera name in the illustrated area. After
revised, please return directly, APP will save the modified name
automatically.

21 Open IR
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’→go to “video
viewing”. You can close the Night Vision Mode or set the mode to auto.
Note: The default night vision mode is auto. Due to the IR-cut can
not forward information to the APP in time, so the status may not be
accurate.

22 Image flip
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’→go to
“video viewing”. You can see “vertical mirror”, “horizontal mirror”.
Horizontal is to flip left and right image.

23 Brightness&contrast adjustment
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’→go to
“video viewing”. Slide the dot to adjust the brightness and
contrast.

24 Light mode adjustment
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’→go to
“video viewing”. You will see ‘light mode’. When you place the
camera indoor, please choose indoor mode, and when you place
the camera outdoor, please choose outdoor mode.
Please note:
If the screen appears striated or dimmed, try the other option.

25 Reboot the camera
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’. You can tab the
‘reboot’ button to restart the camera.

26 How to zoom the C33-x4
1. Login the APP→click play button→switch to full screen mode;
click the screen.

2. As the picture shown, to adjust the focus of the camera, please zoom in and
out the screen by two fingers.

27 Alarm record
1. Login the APP, click Information on the bottom left of the screen;
you can see motion detection alarm and arm&disarm log.
Clicking on the alarm message to jump to real-time video page.

28 Delete camera
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’, click on ‘delete’
and confirm it, then the camera will be removed from the APP.

29 Security center
1. Login the APP→go to ‘My’→click on Account number and
Security;There you can see the security options of the device and
APP.

2. Weak security options will be marked red, click the options to
modify the settings.
Note: (a) Device password weak means that the password of the
camera is too simple,please change to a new
password.
(b)Mailbox binding. If you bound the APP account to a
mailbox, then when you forget the APP login
password, you can retrieve it by the bound mailbox.
(c)Firmware upgrade. It will detect if the camera got the
latest firmware. The latest version of firmware
optimizes the camera’s performance, strengthens
security and fixes some known bugs.
30 Add WiFi lamp、WiFi socket
WiFi lamp:

1. Login the APP→click “+”at the upper right corner and the ‘Scan
QR Code’ page will pop up.
Note: The way of adding wifi socket is the same as the wifi bulb,
please follow the steps of the two ways below.
2. To add the bulb/socket by ‘Scan QR Code’. Click on the ‘Scan
QR Code’, to scan the QR code on the bulb(or socket), the UID
will be auto-filled in, put in the password of the bulb(or socket)
and it will be added successfully.
3. To add the bulb/socket by ‘Others’. Click on the ‘Others’,
then please follow the steps below:

NOTE: Reset the bulb/socket before configuration (the bulb’s color
/the socket’s indicator light will change constantly), and WiFi
network band should be 2.4G)
31 How to use the WiFi lamp、WiFi socket?
WiFi lamp:
1. Login the APP→click the three dots at the bulb’s top right
corner→go to the bulb’s main page;

2. There are 4 buttons: switch、color、the sun、time and sleep mode
setting at the upper right corner.

Note: a. Switch button: turn on and off the lamp.
b. Color button: adjust the bulb color.
c. The sun button: The normally used white color.
d. Time button: Turn it on, the light color will constantly
change.
Sleep mode: Set time value, when time is up, the lamp will
automatically turn off.
WiFi socket:
1. Login the APP→click the three dots at the socket’s top right
corner→go to the socket’s main page.

After entered, click the socket icon to switch on/ off it. Tab the
timing button at the upper right corner to set time schedule.

3. The timing settings are very simple, what you need to do is to
setup the time and date to turn on and off the socket, that’s it.

32 Modify the name of the WiFi lamp and WiFi socket
WiFi lamp:
1. Login the APP→click the three dots at the bulb’s top right
corner→go to the bulb’s main page–click on the settings button
at the top right corner.

2. Click the arrow as shown below→modify the name , then
click ”confirm”.

33 Pairing detectors and alarm cameras
1. Login the APP,select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’→click
‘Alarm’;

2.click ‘Add a sensor’ →choose the sensor type,(Here we take door
sensor as an example, so we choose ‘door sensor’);Follow the
instruction to add the door sensor.

3. As shown in the below photo,after added successfully, it will be
display in the Sensor List.

34 Arm/disarm of the camera
1. Login the APP, you will see a sign which indicate the current
alarm mode. There are three modes: Home mode, away mode
and sleep mode.
Home mode: Alarm off.
Away mode: Alarm on.
Sleep mode: Alarm on.

2. Tab the lock can also turn off/on the alarm.

35 Time settings of arm&disarm
1. Login the APP,select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’→click
‘Alarm’;
2. Tab the ‘add schedule’ to set time and date of the alarm;Select
time & week, then save it.

36 Settings of preset positions
1. Login the APP, select the camera→click play button→click the
‘Pan/tilt’ icon, setup the preset positions.

2. After finish the settings,please return to the APP home page,
select the camera, go to ‘Parameter settings’ — Alarm, click the
sensor added just now;
3. Select the preset position you want to point to when armed.

37 Modify the detector’s name
1. Login the APP, select the camera→go to ‘Parameter Settings’
-Alarm, click the sensor,then rename it;

38 Delete the detector
1. Login the APP, select the camera→go to ‘Parameter Settings’
-Alarm, click the sensor,then click on ‘delete sensor’, confirm it,

2. You can turn on/off the doorbell sound and doorbell reminder.

Note:
Doorbell sound: If it is turned off, the camera will not make doorbell
sounds when alarm is triggered under disarm mode.
Doorbell reminder: If it is turned off, there will be no alarm message
push to the phone when alarm is triggered under disarm mode.
40 Notification push mode
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’ – Alarm, there
you can see the ‘notification type’, tab it and you will get two types:
client and email.

Note: Client notification refers to the alarm notification pushed by
the APP on phone.

E-mail notification refers to that when you bound the APP to
a mailbox, once the alarm is triggered, it will send a
notification to the mailbox timely.
41 Open/ close notification push
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→click ‘Parameter Settings’ – Alarm,
there you can see the ‘notification type’;
2. You can click the notification type and follow the guide to
enable/disable them.

42 Traffic statistics
1. Login the APP→go to ‘My’ on the bottom right→click ‘Data
Traffic’; There you can see the amount of the WiFi and mobile
data traffic that the camera consume. We can also clear the data
and recompute the traffic data.

43 Thumbnail display
1. Login the APP→click on ‘My’→Settings→find ‘Camera List Mode’.
There are two modes can be choose from: Thumbnail and List
modes. Tab it to switch between the Thumbnail and List modes.

1. Login the APP→go to ‘My’→click ‘Online service’to get online support.

46 Switch Eye4 account
1. Login the APP→go to ‘My’, click on the head portrait or the edit
icon on the top right corner→find “Log Out”;

2. After logged out, it will be back to the login page. Choose the way
you want to login or login with another account.

47 Modify Eye4 login password
1. Login the APP→→go to ‘My’, click on the head portrait or the edit
icon on the top right corner→→find “Change Password”;
2. Follow the instruction, confirm the original password, enter a new one
twice and click “done” to confirm it. Note: Please mind the password
requirements at the bottom of the page.

1. After downloaded sd card video files to PC, you can use the professional
tool to play it. Download link of the player :

2. After installed,click on the icon ;Find the video folder, double-click
the file to play it.

49 Storage location of local snapshot and recording
1. The local snapshot will be stored in the file SD card/DCIM/Camera, you can
find the snapshot there.
2. The local recording will be stored in the file SD card /DCIM/Eye4, you can
check the manually recorded video files there.
50 Playback SD card video on the phone
1. Login the APP, select the camera, click on the three dot on the
camera’s top right corner→tab the ‘SD card playback’.

2. Expand the time list, select the date, click on the file to view the video
playback.
